Jean’s Restaurant was opened in 1973 by Jean Langley and her mother Nellie Light. While Jean’s has transformed over the years and grown into different spaces, the basics always remained the same – good food, and quality time with those we love.

Jean’s on the River is located on the bank of the Warrior River in Cordova, Alabama, and is an ideal spot for family dinner or just a good home-cooked meal when the mood strikes you. Jean’s serves a variety of meat and three selections every day, and an assortment of made to order salads, steaks, sandwiches, and a hearty helping of homemade desserts.

Come get a seafood platter with fresh butterfly shrimp, fried catfish and grilled tilapia, or our classic Dilly Burger we’ve been making for decades.

Of course Jean’s is known for our Peach Cobbler and Chicken ‘n Dressing, you’ll never go wrong getting those any day of the week.

If you’re in the mood for a delectable steak that will just melt in your mouth, we’ve recently added Filet Mignon to the menu – and we waited until we had it absolutely perfected before serving them up to the public, so you know you’re going to get quality.
